Tove Lo's ridiculously amazing debut album, Queen of the Clouds, was my absolute fave new release of 2014. Not only does this Swedish pop princess have catchy songs, she also has a really sick sense of style!

Last night, I saw her perform live at the Highline Ballroom here in Chelsea and was totally inspired by her glam look. Looking for a How To to get Tove's style? Look no further than your local Ricky's NYC (or RickysNYC.com) ...

Tove wore her hair parted with a series of small mini braids only on the right side toward her face. Oscar Blandi has a great Braid Paste ($25) that adds some extra weight to the hair so flyaways just don't happen. (Bonus -- you don't have to only use this product while braiding your hair. It works as a really great texturizer for a piece-y kind of look. Ideal for humid summer!) She dressed up her braids with white fabric weaved in, anchored by large black feathers and chunky metallic beads. This is such a fun hair look, especially for festival season coming up!

For her makeup look, Tove rocked a sexy, smokey eye look with a focus of color below her lower lash line -- and for an added twist, there was a lot of glitter and black/green iridescence for added dimension. You can re-create her glam smokey eye with the NYX Femme Fatale Sex Bomb Palette ($7.50) -- a title Tove would approve of, I'm totes sure. No need for precision liner here, opt for a chunkier Shadow Stick like these ones from NYX ($9 per shade) to line above and below the eye. Don't forget to prime your lids first so your look lasts all night! I like E.L.F.'s Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer ($1.75).

If shimmery shadow isn't your thing, you can get a similar look with these RickyCare Backstage Glitter Party Lashes ($9.99). Or -- since we're "Talking Body" -- opt for these super easy to use RickyCare Backstage Body Jewels ($6.99) for a similar look.

What do you think of Tove's look? Do you have a fave song of hers? (Mine's definitely "Moments" -- you can see a live vid on my Instagram here.) Let's discuss in the comments!
